Porch life
I love my front porch – from Spring through Autumn. So does my cat Harrley. The chair is a vintage garbage find from decades ago. It makes for a fun and challenging object to draw. It is a remarkably comfortable seat.

Man, you make that chair look so comfortable!
Love the cat fur speaking eloquently in paint dabs.

Actually not paint dabs but stroke overlaps……I just magnified it. Interesting painting technique to get Harrley’s fur looking just right.

Thank you! Glad you liked the cat. Actually is less a matter of skill and more a matter of playing and trying to convey the feeling of his fur. He’s a great cat!
