#oneweek100people2018 — Day Five — Done!

Thanks to a great outing yesterday, I had a captive group of about 18 people who found it funny to see me so serious and concentrated on my sketchbook while they enjoyed hot chocolate, etc. But, my subject for #100 was busy boiling maple sap. Here are all the sketches from day five, plus one attempt at a pooch.

This has been an amazing experience. I now understand why the people who started this drawing challenge make it over five days and not a full week. You need two days to recover!

#OneWeek100People2018 … Day One

I made a plan: picked out a sketchbook, chose limited drawing tools, picked locations, and… so far, so good.

Day One: warm up looking in the mirror (yikes!)

Then I spent about 45 minutes at the Costco snack bar area drawing quickly with a thick water-soluble 9B, and used a water brush when I got home (with a few exceptions done with brush pen).

And a last few faces from watching TV. Not the best idea, in hindsight.
